Trip to St. George

So we went to St. George yesterday to watch my brother's Rugby games. The
drive down was good and uneventful. My brother however got a whooping because
his team played the #3 team in the WORLD. It was like watching a high school
team play against a professional team. But he had a lot of good hits and blocks.
So we had a good time and the weather was amazing. We were wearing t-shirts. But
then on the way home to Provo we hit a major snow storm and it was probably the
scariest driving event of my life. It lasted all the way from before Beaver to
past Holden (if you have any idea how long that is...it's about 50 miles.) I was
dying and gripping my seat for like a straight hour and a half but Spencer on
the other hand was all calm and collected while I was FREAKING out. And he
wanted to call his brother during all of this and I was like, "no way....give me
your phone, I will call him." Are you crazy! People die while talking/texting on
the phones while driving let alone driving a BLIZZARD! But we made it out safe
and sound thank goodness because there were a lot of cars that didn't and had
slid off of the road. Never seen so many tow trucks in my life! And so after we
had gotten out of HOlden, we stopped at a gas station to get some water and when
I came back out I about cried when I took a good look at my car. I was in such a
hurry to go to the bathroom that I hadn't noticed that my car had been thrashed.
So here are some picutres. Too bad I didn't take a before picture especially
since I had just washed it and had gotten a new windshield about a month ago.
But there was a definite crack in my windshield from some stupid rock. But
Spencer and I are still alive which is all that matters. Even though it was
pretty dang scary! And I am suppose to look so sad in that picture but
Spencer thought the whole situation and the way my car looked was pretty funny
and so I couldn't be sad at that point.

Carrabas

Last night we
went to Dayna's gymnastics meet and then we went to Carrabas after. It was
delicious and did not disappoint. We had a good time and baby Sydney was
there too! It was fun. And it's a good thing that Jase and Spencer
are okay with us being loud because there was lots of loud laughter. And
of course Stacie told the great story of the little girl that ate popcorn off of
the FLOOR. Here is the story:
So Stacie, while we were at the gymnastics meet, was
eating one of those small buckets of popcorn and there was this
little girl about 5 years old sitting in front of us. And she was staring
and Stacie and Haley eat this popcorn. Literally staring! And so
finally Stacie gave her some and it her took her like 5 minutes to finally eat
it. This was all very entertaining for us. Anyhow, something bumped
Stacie and her popcorn fell all over the floor and under the seats in front of
where this little girl and her family was sitting. So seriously within a
couple of minutes this little girl is on the ground eating the popcorn off of
the floor. OFF OF THE FLOOR! We couldn't believe it. And then
when the mom finally noticed what she was doing (it took like 5 minutes) all she
did was look at the girl and say, "Ew yuck" That is it! She didn't
stop her. We were dying. So to all you mothers out there and future
mothers...don't let your children eat another person's food off of the
floor! Does this child get fed?
But it was a
good night overall and Dayna scored a 9.8 or higher on beam, floor and
vault!

Patty Cake Patty Cake

Here is a video of my adorable nephew. I can't get enough of how sticken cute he is!

Colbie Caillat

So my roommate had an extra ticket to the Colbie Caillat concert in Salt Lake and so she took me! Thanks Ace! It was at the Venue and a lot of fun. If you have ever been there you understand when I say it isn't the most glamorous place and I was standing under a drip from the roof. Kind of funny. But we had a good time and Colbie is AMAZING live. She sounds exactly like she does on her cd's. I loved it. And sorry about the video and how shaky it is in the beginning. And in the middle of the song, some tall lady decided to stand up right in front of me and Ace and Ace is only 4'11. I was like you have got to be kidding me. So I had to cut the video short. But "Realize" is my favorite of hers. And she has some new songs coming out soon which I am really excited for.

Fun Filled Weekend

Spencer and I went up to Gateway last night and ate an incredible Italian restaurant called Biaggia's. I think that is how you spell it. Anyways, we then did some shopping and bought my brother who is on his mission some basketball shorts and a tshirt for p-day. And Spencer got a new shirt at Gap. I have to admit it looks good on him. WE had a good time. And we realized that we have really different taste in music while we driving up to Salt Lake. I don't think we have more than 5 common artists between our two ipods. Kind of funny. For Valentine's Day, we went up to my Grandma's in Draper and the 3 of us ate at Geckos. My Grandma loved him and even called me the next day to tell me again how much she thought of him and how nice he was. Gotta love her. I am not saying he is the one yet but it's pretty dang close! He is by far the best guy I have ever dated.

Michael Buble

I would definetly not call myself a hugh Michael Buble fan but the other day I heard my roommate Ace playing one of his new song in her room. It is called "Lost" and it is so amazing. I try to not listen to it to much so I don't get sick of it....but I can't help it. I think I have already listened to it 4 or 5 times today and it is only 4:23 in the afternoon. And let's be honest. He isn't the worst to look at.
