drive down was good and uneventful. My brother however got a whooping because
his team played the #3 team in the WORLD. It was like watching a high school
team play against a professional team. But he had a lot of good hits and blocks.
So we had a good time and the weather was amazing. We were wearing t-shirts. But
then on the way home to Provo we hit a major snow storm and it was probably the
scariest driving event of my life. It lasted all the way from before Beaver to
past Holden (if you have any idea how long that is...it's about 50 miles.) I was
dying and gripping my seat for like a straight hour and a half but Spencer on
the other hand was all calm and collected while I was FREAKING out. And he
wanted to call his brother during all of this and I was like, "no way....give me
your phone, I will call him." Are you crazy! People die while talking/texting on
the phones while driving let alone driving a BLIZZARD! But we made it out safe
and sound thank goodness because there were a lot of cars that didn't and had
slid off of the road. Never seen so many tow trucks in my life! And so after we
had gotten out of HOlden, we stopped at a gas station to get some water and when
I came back out I about cried when I took a good look at my car. I was in such a
hurry to go to the bathroom that I hadn't noticed that my car had been thrashed.
So here are some picutres. Too bad I didn't take a before picture especially
since I had just washed it and had gotten a new windshield about a month ago.
But there was a definite crack in my windshield from some stupid rock. But
Spencer and I are still alive which is all that matters. Even though it was
pretty dang scary! And I am suppose to look so sad in that picture but
Spencer thought the whole situation and the way my car looked was pretty funny
and so I couldn't be sad at that point.
