I have such a tender heart for disabled children so when my friend Rachelle put this on her blog, I had to share. I bawled...not going to lie.
About Me
I graduated from BYU in Audiology and Speech Language Pathology and I am working as an SLPL at a school district. I enjoy it and it keeps me SUPER busy. I also teach spin classes at LA Fitness. I refuse to ever pay for a gym membership. I live with 2 awesome girls: Erika and Christina. I love Diet Dr. Pepper, ritz crackers, bunny tracks ice cream, shopping, cooking, sleeping, reading, and working out. I have the 4 cutest nephews in the world: Kaden, Jack, Nixon and Bentley and 1 adorable niece: Alena. This is my simple yet really awesome life!

Oops
This is how I feel right now.
While I should be doing work, I got distracted and thought of giving my blog a facelift. In the meantime, I deleted all my "widgets" as they call it and now I have no one's blog addresses, none of my fun pictures, quotes, whatever. Gone. Not quite sure what the heck happened. I am too tired to care at the moment and too frustrated to even try and do anything about it now. So if you could please give me your blog addresses it would be much appreciated so I don't have to go and track you all down. Looks like I will be
starting over. It really isn't that big of a deal. Did I mention how I am too tired to care that it is all gone? Good.
Just checking...

Spring Break
I was on Spring Break for work and so my Mom and I
decided to head to Utah to see my Grandma.
She will be 88 in May and I want to spend as much time
with her as I can. So we headed out Friday and stayed in St. George
with my cousin Michelle and her kids.
I do miss the mountains so I took a picture
of me driving to Provo. I went down Tuesday
to see some friends. It was a good time.
My friend Rachelle and I...so good to see her...
we were in the speech program together and became good
friends. We had a few bumps when I dated
Spencer Pierson but good friendships always overcome...:)
But I have to say that Rachelle was my very first friend at BYU
(that I didn't know coming up).
We had a physics class together and she came and sat next to me
and started talking and chatting and that was that. She is
wonderful!
Audrey...what a doll!
A trip wouldn't be complete without these girls
and dinner!
Met up with Haley and met her cute fiance, Bo.
It was good to her. When you live with someone for 3 years
you can't help but love them.
And I bought a nook! Yay. LOVE IT! I am attached.
My grandma, mom and I went down to the church history
museum in Salt Lake. This is John Taylor's watch from
Carthage jail. I thought this was pretty cool.
The actual one!
The face molds of Joseph and Hyrum Smith. I remember
Sister Black talking about these in my class so
I thought it was pretty cool.
I love these 2 people very much.
They are the best!!
It was a fun trip and a good break. But I got home and
needed a vacation from my vacation. haha!!
Tomorrow work starts again.
Nose to the grindstone.
Happy new week!

Wild Blossom
Smell is very important to me. My mom makes fun of me
but I really do think I have a heightened sense of smell.
I can smell things a mile away.
And with my awesome discount, I have become a very regular shopper
at Gap, Old Navy and my personal favorite: Banana Republic
They have a new line of perfume and I am in love.
Wild Blossom.
First: I love the flower
Second: I smell like a field of flowers
(I can't get enough of it)
AMAZING...

Happy Valentine's Day
Being single, Valentine's Day has NEVER been my favorite holiday.
But since I am a romantic at heart...it is still a fun day.
We made Valentine's at work and ate heart shaped donuts.
It was pretty sweet.
It was pretty sweet.
And one of my little 1st graders brought me a rose and asked
me to be his Valentine. Doesn't get much better than that!
Happy Valentine's Day!

Happy 19th Dilly!
We call him Dilly. And a few outside the family: (Steven, Lena,)
It is his 19th birthday so I came up with 19 reasons Why I love that he is my brother:
1. He is the best 3rd to the youngest brother ever!
2. He has great hair. I mean seriously it is so thick. This may sound strange since he is a boy, but I am tellin ya….great locks of love!
3. He is smart. Graduated with honors at in the top 10% of his class. You would never know by looking at him…but he is a straight A student.
4. He is funny and witty. He does this thing with his eyes when he looks at you with this smirk (hard to explain) but it gets me every time.
5. He is very wise for his age. It is amazing. Maybe being the youngest has something to do with this and watching us all make mistakes, but he says the most mature and wise things and it is just amazing. Kills me.
6. He is very athletic. He can do just about anything. It is ri-dic-u-lous!
7. He is tall.
8. He dominates in family games: Scum, Sequence, Balderdash
9. He is always honest about the boys I date. If Dallin doesn’t like him, it is a “no-go” in my book.
10. He is the worst texter EVER! He only texts one-word responses and it is usually “no” “ok” “sure” and “ya”
11. He loves my Mom.
12. He loves chick flicks. ALWAYS up for going to a movie.
13. He can eat more Hungry Howies Pizza than anyone I know.
14. He is a good listener. I have come to him on more than one occasion and he always lends a listening ear.
15. He very competitive. He doesn’t like losing.
16. He is very humble and doesn’t like the lime light.
17. He doesn’t know how to cook. He may not even know how to boil water.
18. He has a very kind and loving heart.
19. He has such a strong and solid testimony, especially for a boy of his age. He most definitely is a choice spirit and the more I know him, the more I come to see that.
Sure love you brother and I am so happy we are related. Happy 19th!
Reading my list
I thought it would be fun to give him 19 packs of gum...
19 candy bars...
19 shasta sodas...he loves shasta...but he told
me to get him 19 strawberries next time.
Duly noted.
And a few shirts...not 19...
Spencer got him those sound reducing headphones...
And The Shumway family was able to join
in with the festivities. They have
all been super sick so they weren't able to stay too long.
Gotta love Jack!!
Happy Birthday Dilly.
Sure love you!
